Now... when everyone about my age first saw the advertisment for Happy Feet, you probably thought it looked a bit too childish for me. But if you actually watch it you might actually like it.
Its about a young emperor penguin who was mutated during development in the egg cause his father lost the egg in a blizzard for a few seconds (what a lousy father). This gave him super powers and he saves the penguin race with his new found powers. As you may have guessed, its nowhere near along that line, however the penguin WAS mutated during development AND he does end up saving the penguin race. All the penguins in "Emperor Land" (what a cliche) could sing beautifully from birth, however our little hero, Mumble (strange name aye? well thats what you get for having a dad that sings like Elvis and goes by the name Memphis), could not sing due to his little accident. But he could tap dance like a pro from birth.
As the story goes along, he yearns to be accepted for what he is but never does (until near the end). He soon finds out that population of the fish is low so he tries to find out whats causing it. And thus his adventure begins.
The first few minutes is pretty much like The March of the Penguins (documentary about emperor penguins) except they can all talk and sing. The rest is OK and has a little twist and is quite original for a movie. Its not everyday you see a movie with tapdancing and singing penguins right? Also the music on it is quite good too. Overall i give the movie a 7and a half over 10.

Cool review 
I never thought about watching it, but maybe I will go give it a go...
If not, I'm sure I'll watch it on DVD.
