This was mean't to be an email to Nick / Gigamesh. Since lots of people have been asking me things similar to what I told Nick in this email, I thought I would just tell everyone. If I am offensive or something I don't know, it's because I wrote this very late at night and I am awfully tired right now. Also, do not read this if you just want to cause nonsense, as it is still kind of personal but its for people who are genuinely interested.
Hey,
I went to an interview for Westlake today.
It went fine, however the guy was like "seeing as you achieved excellent results in your last years exam, I think you may need to do the Cambridge Entry Exam."
I was like umm, sure ok.
So, 30mins later, I had to do this 4 hour exam!
I wasn't the only one, there was this guy from another school in Auckland who wanted to come to Westlake for the academic and wider range of sporting options.
The exam was so hard. Not only was it hard, it was unfair because
a) I have not been at school for over 2 months.
b) No warning whatsoever.
c) I haven't been taught half the stuff in the exam. So how can they judge me on that. When I have been taught something then I am good at it. So, if I got bad marks. It's not an indication that I will do badly this year if I were to be placed in Cambridge. Because, the stuff that I will be taught this year I will be good at.
My mom spoke to the other guy's (the one doing the exam too) mom. Since they had to wait for us for over an hour
She said, he left his school to come to this school to do Cambridge, but they were only told at 4pm yesterday that he had to do the exam too. She said it was unfair for him too, as he is good at something when he has learnt and studied it. So this surprise exam is not showing what he is capable of.
However, the school I quite like. Very nice and modern. One cool thing I noticed is that they have elevators. Remember I said OBHS needed them lol. It's so big though. I have been twice and had a quick wander around by myself, but still haven't seen all the buildings. Haven't even seen the sports fields yet. The new staff rooms, and assembly I learn't cost 12 million. I'm not that surprised. Also, I saw that all the computers have flat screens and look to be very powerful, I read that in the 2006 yearbook too, as well that they are upgrading all the PC's to Vista this term.
Also, I read that all schools in the North Shore are getting proper highspeed broadband, and they are laying out the fibre-optic cables now.
Guess what I still do not have my uniforms and school starts this Wednesday. Westlake have told us, that we were suppose to get them today. However, since I wrote that exam I could not go get them. So on Wednesday, at 8am I have to go kit-out my uniforms.. The day school starts!
The school starts at 9:30am, I am not sure if that is every morning, I think so though. School ends at 3:10pm.
Also, Tiffany is back. My dad is back in South Africa. Plus, my cousin is back in NZ too. Funny, that they were all flying in the air together at one stage.
I have to go now, it's late.
Cya.

I am not too sure, to get in I have to be in top 20-25%. Like I said, I was not ready for this exam. If I has been at school with them last year, learn't what they did, and studied like them, then I am sure I would have gone through it easily. But since I havn't been taught like half the stuff for science it is unfair. Because when I am taught it, I will understand it and remember.
Where I saw the lifts in was 2-3 stories high, but its obviously for disabled kids, if there are any...
Nope, I was not at school. I am sure they will have my size. So many uniforms I need:
1) Summer Uniform
2) Winter Uniform
3)PE Uniform
4) Formal Uniform
unlike OBHS, where the seniors uniform is basically the same through winter and summer, the winter and summer uniform for Westlake is completely different.
Lol, you did not comment on the PCs
This is the senior summer, winter and formal uniform:

Oh yea!
You only do PE if you choose it as a subject lol
So, no, I wont need a PE uniform.
At school, to start I want to do Waterpolo.
Also, this term I'm going to take up Golf lessons with Tiffany.
There is a golf course a few houses up the road from us, like 1 min walk, so nice if I can get lessons so close by.
