Who here actually knows who Albert Hammond Jr is? Yes? No? Well for those who dont, he's the guitarist for the alternative rock band; The Strokes. Im sure most of you know who they are. They were very successful with their album; Is This It and Room on Fire.
Well anyways, back to the topic... Our good friend, Albert, has released a solo album! Thats right! SOLO! At first i didnt think it would be ok, but not as good as the actuall Strokes music. But you know what?..... it was a hell of a lot better than i had expected!
If you've heard both Room on Fire and Is This It albums, then you know that they sound a bit different, (i prefer Is This It). If you wanna know what Albert's music sounds like, then think of Room On Fire with a dash of Is This It.
Out of 10, i would have to give this album (by the way, its called "Yours to Keep" if you didnt read the title) a 9. Its awesome, but its not perfect.
