This is my first article and i'd like to say that im going to be doing as many music, game and animation reviews as i can!
and one more thing; YEAH BABY!

Of course everybody knows of the Big Day Out, right? Squares, Cool guys, Punks, Emos, you name it, they know it! If you dont, then boy you must be REALLY REALLY deprived of social activities or something!

For those who doesnt know what the Big Day Out is, read this part. If you do but you just wanna know what my idea of the BDO is, then read it too.
The Big Day Out is only the most awesome annual gathering of perhaps a few of the WORLDS GREATEST BANDS AND MUSICIANS!

Last year, the most major band had performed... Iggy and The Stooges!* For me, this years major band would have to be the Violent Femmes.* For the heavier people out there Tool and Trivium is also performing, (Sandor, im looking your way).

There are heaps more major bands performing at the BDO 07. I strongly encourage you to go if your emo or if you like emo music since My Chemical Romance is playing there. I personally dont like them but hey! I would also strongly encourage indies to go! Its an absoulute MUST this year! Good bands are playing! And its not that often that they all gather like this!

Overall, i would have to say it is an absoulute must! It should be compulsory to have to go this year if you love music as much as i do! but im not going cause im too....... poor....

I really recommend the Big Day Out. Cool

I'm sure I will be going because I know they guy who is organizing it, so I might be able to go behind the scenes and meet the artists! (if I'm not getting this confused with another big music event lol).

It is so cool that its being hosted in Auckland, but then again, where else could it be hosted... Rotorua lol Shocked

Yea BDO is mean, but this years line-up is looking so-so with to many emo bands and not enough true rock bands

that is very true, but still! THE VIOLENT FEMMES! not everyday that a band that great comes to NZ right? I would buy a ticket just to see THEM.

The guy who organizes events that I know doesn't organize huge events such as this one.

But I will probably go next year.

I wanted to go but my parents werent to keen on my idea of they pay the airline tickets, i pay for the BDO ticket.

Well, seems like you need to work on your maths lol.

Figure out whats 50%, I know it will be hard for you, but all you need to know is that everyone is special and special people can do anything. Razz
