You can now upload images using the form at www.gbhfusion.com/uploads/

The uploaded images can be used throughout the site Wink

The file name will be your username followed by the name of the image.

Eg: If I were to upload an image called grass.jpg from my pc, the file would be uploaded to www.gbhfusion.com/uploads/images/Gareth-grass.jpg

The images can be no bigger than one meg.

Hope it comes in handy Cool

Make sure the uploader only allows certain file type - i.e. not videos or music.

I don't think so, because the header will still be of a movie. And if if it does allow you to upload it, it wont work because of wrong file extension.

There is no way they can use that file, because it can only be used within GBHfusion right?

So if you visit that URL you'll just get a 403.

If you upload files that are not images, once uploaded you'll never ever be able to get it back.

The file hosting is not only for the forum, its also for the articles and comments on the rest of the site. Comments... which not many people are making Sad

No one has made comments except Gideon and Jon.

Plus, no one has comment on many things like this article http://www.gbhfusion.com/articles.php?id=2&comment=true&bkpath=/articles.php#comm

You should give the details and info about files allowed to upload on this otherwise people still get the problems to ask day by day. since there is nothing telling that files types allow then people still get confuse about.

one thing, if this uses for the whole site like forum images etc, then you should separate section or folder to upload, or maybe for forum images only in one link, and inside website another one....don't know...
