Flock Web Browser is a browser that takes a different approach. It is often referred to as the social browser for its blogging, photo sharing, rss reader and its general chatty, socialistic approach to the web.
Bloggers are the main audience for flock. It is designed to keep you up to minute with latest news, blogs and friends online status. This makes flock a great alternative as it packs in the feature from firefox as well as its social side to the web and communication.
Favourite websites (bookmarks) can be kept up to date across computers thanks to a web serverice called del.icio.us. Bookmarks can easily also be shared with others to widen the browsing regions of the individuals.
Flock sorts out news feeds (RSS) in a seperate panel rather than using bookmarks. Feeds are checked hourly for new stories/posts but this can be changed. Thanks to the specific icon in the address bar it is now easier to subscribe to web feeds.
