Cobian Backup is a great backup facility that allows you to schedule and backup files and folders onto an external device.
You can compress and encrypt the files and folders too so you can transfer your data over from one location to the other quickly and securly.
Application is portable (run off memory stick) as it doesnt use any registry except when as a service.
SSL connections are supported, as well as ftp speed limiting and virtually all of the typical feature you would expect to find in such a program.
