The site is generally very slow with all the flashing logo and the yellow top bit about not registered if you are not logged in to forum.

I also admit I hate the copyright white, half transparent bit at the bottom.
It ruins the whole site so that should go in my opinion along with the yellow top bar copy of windows activex stuff because thats just annoying.. Flashing logo is a bit distracting..

And generally the site runs slow...

However, site colours and forum are good - along with some of the content.

Lol we have spoken about this.

I will bring out options to change copyright, and disable all effects.

However, if you are not logged in the yellow bar at top will always remain there, unless of course, you logout. Cool

Seeing as GBHfusion has great service, we have completed your request. Cool

There is now an option to disable all effects in the GBH Control Panel, including:

Flashing logo

Transparent Floating Footer

Snap Preview Images for affiliate external links.

And more...
[/list:u]

However, this feature currently does not apply to the forum as phpbb doesn't allow me to insert php. Neutral

Maybe you don't need any effects on the forum anyway.
Maybe just make it no effects manually.. I don't see why there needs to be many affects on the forum.

I don't see the yellow bar on top.. and the copyright bar on the bottom doesn't affect me. However, I honestly dislike the flashing logo on top. And when you log in, it doesn't let you save the password so you get logged in automatically UNLESS you use the small login box onthe bottom of the forum.

Do the same cookie script in html allowing for a simple document.write on load the also changes the path and loads fake js include file.

Can you write how to do this and post it here please? I have no idea on javascript. For php I did:
[code:1]<?php if (isset($_COOKIE["effects"])) echo $_COOKIE["effects"];else echo"js";?>[/code:1]

LOL I spoke to you on MSN about this.. Whenever you log into the forum... it won't let you click the box to log in automatically next time ... the only way I got it to work is when I logged in via the small login section on the bottom of the forums.

@Gbh. The modified effects.js and prototype.js are done and sent to u. They will take action on both forum page and normal pages. Cool
